Temps drop marginally in Himachal Pradesh

Mercury dropped marginally across Himachal Pradesh today as the region experienced scattered rainfall with the sky remaining heavily overcast.
Naina Devi was the wettest place in the state with 20 mm rains while Shimla received 5.4 mm rainfall.
Arki and Jhandutta received 5.2 mm rainfall each, Ghamroor 4.8 mm, Udaipur 4.6 mm, Bharwain 3 mm and Mashobra 2.8 mm.
Temperatures rose marginally in the lower hills and Una was the hottest place in the region with a maximum temperature at 36.7 degrees Celsius.
Dharamshala and Nahan recorded a high of 31.2 degrees Celsius and 31.1 degrees Celsius respectively, followed by Sundernagar 29.7 at degrees Celsius, Solan 25 degrees Celsius, Manali 20 degrees Celsiusand Kalpa 16.6 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperatures dropped by few notches in the higher hills and tribal areas. Keylong and Kalpa recorded a low of 2. 9 degrees Celsius and 4.2 degrees Celsius.
Manali recorded 5 degrees Celsius, Bhuntar 11.4 degrees Celsius, Solan 12 degrees Celsius, Dharamshala 12.6 degrees Celsius, Nahan 15.1 degrees Celsius, Palampur 15.5 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar 15.6 degrees Celsius and Una 18 degrees Celsius.
The local MeT office has predicted rains or thunder storm in lower and mid hills and rains or snow in higher hills at isolated places over next the four days.
