Temps remain above 40-degree mark in Raj

Temperatures remained above the 40- degree mark in most places of Rajasthan with Churu being the hottest place in the state with 46.4 degrees Celsius.
Some parts also witnessed dust storms and light rain, the MeT department said.
Ganganagar recorded 45 degrees Celsius while the temperature here and in Bikaner was 44.8 degrees Celsius.
Barmer recorded 44.4 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer and Pilani 44.2 degrees Celsius each, Kota 44 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur 43.4 degrees Celsius, Ajmer 42.5 and Dabok 41.5 degrees Celsius.
The MeT department has predicted dust storm and thunderstorm with rain to occur at isolated places in the state.
