Ten Thai girls among 18 booked in flesh trade case

Eighteen people, including ten Thai girls, were arrested for allegedly running flesh trade in the garb of two spas at Banipark area here, police said today.
All the accused, 10 Thai girls and 8 men, were booked at Sadar police station under prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, they said.
There were complaints from the local people that on the pretext of massage, prostitution racket was being carried in the Thai spas, the police said.
After probing the plaints, the cops raided the crystal mall at Banipark and arrested the manager, four Thai girls and helpers at the Thai Harmony Spa. While six other Thai girls, three customers and manager of Crystal Spa were also arrested, they said.
The girls used to charge from Rs 3000 to Rs 6,000 depending on the customers standard for one time massage and illicit relations, they said.
The police have recovered the visa and passports of the accused Thai girls and verifying their antecedents, they said.
