Tension over animal slaughter
Ten persons were arrested in connection with the incident, ADGP, Law and Order, Jagmohan Yadav said.
Tension ran high in the area as members of a particular community objected to slaughter of the animal, he said.
Security had been beefed up in the trouble-torn area to ward off any law and order problem.
