Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh today said terrorism has no religion and those involved in heinous crime against humanity need to be condemned by every section of the society.
"We should all collectively synergise our efforts to beat the forces preaching secession and give a befitting reply to anti-national forces," he said.
Singh was speaking at the inauguration of a relief camp organised by the Hind Samachar group of newspapers in association with Lions Club, Jammu at Maralia in Miran Sahab area here.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the media group had been playing "yeoman's role in social and other related sectors".
He said the organisation also contributed in strengthening the nationalistic thought through its publications and other related activities, even at the height of militancy in Punjab.
"The role played by the Hind Samachar group during the darkest era of militancy in Punjab for upholding the integrity of the nation and defeating the forces of secession is historic," Singh added.
