It is learnt that both the senior officials of the BCCI have had "fruitful discussions" with the three-member panel comprising of Justice (Retd) Lodha, Justice (Retd) Ashok Bhan and Justice (Retd) RV Raveendran.
In fact, Thakur deposed to the committee in the morning on the possible recommendations on the reforms in BCCI.
"I met the Lodha commission today in the morning. Had a meeting with them for an hour. It was a very fruitful meeting is all I can say," Thakur said on the sidelines of South Africa's warm-up game against India A.
IPL chairman Shukla deposed before the committee in the afternoon.
Earlier in July, the Lodha Committee recommended two-year suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from the cash-rich Indian Premier League.
