It was released at the hands of the Maharashtra Minister Ravindra Chavan, MLA Sanjay Kelkar, city unit president Sandeep Lele and Maharashtra Mahila Morcha Chief Madhavi Naik.
The other highlights of the manifesto are -- working to make the city cent per cent literate, exempt common welfare halls of cooperative societies from any taxes, provide special concession in taxes to the family members of defence personnel who lost their lives in action and modernise crematoriums in the city.
The manifesto also deals with issues like health, education, women and child welfare, employment generation, basic facilities, among others.
