Thane police arrest woman for husband's murder

The Thane police today arrested a woman for allegedly murdering her husband last night in connivance with her lover.
Sub-Inspector Anil Andhere of Vasai police station said that the accused woman had an affair with another man, and she conspired with him to kill the husband.
Accordingly, late last night the two attacked victim Abu Taher Aziz Shaikh (38) with sharp weapons in his house in the Vagya Mohalla of Papadi and killed him.
Police today arrested the wife, Yeshma Abu Taher (32).
Co-accused, identified as Pradeep, was absconding, police said.
