announced special summary revision of Photo Electoral Rolls with January 1 next year as qualifying date for which the process for draft publication of electoral rolls has been scheduled to be started from October 1 next and would be completed by January 11 next, the date for final publication of electoral rolls.
For the purpose, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Kaling Tayeng has convened a meeting with all the deputy commissioners who are also the district electoral officers and directed them to launch the programme on October 1 next in the entire state by involving all the stake holders an official release said today.
Special emphasis would be given for enrolment of new electors who attain 18 years of age on January 1, 2017, women and persons with disability, the release said.
