The victim's mother and sister, who are eye-witnesses in
Press Trust of Indiathe murder case had yesterday recorded their statement in the court and today, the mother was to be cross-examined. Rana, who is the President of Rohini Bar Association, said the issue has raised serious question mark over security of advocates, judges and litigants. "It is nothing but a security lapse. We have met the District Judge and requested him to call an urgent meeting. Since he was busy today, he has assured us he will call a meeting of Bar office bearers and senior police officials tomorrow," Rana said. Shocked by the incident, the advocates pointed out the "ill-planned" location of the court complex in the centre of a residential area, which also has many coaching institutes, puts the life of locals and students at risk.
