"There is no respect left as cold war was going on between us (Krushna and Kapil Sharma) since 'Comedy Circus'. We are not friends... There is rivalry (between us)," Krushna told PTI.
Kapil, 34, became a household name with his show "Comedy Nights with Kapil". Due to reported differences between Kapil and the channel 'Colours', the two decided to part ways.
"I did not want him (Kapil) to leave the show (Comedy Nights with Kapil). It would have been a healthy fight between us with 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' and 'Comedy Nights Bachao'," Krushna said.
"Now there will be healthy competition between us as he has a new show on different channel," the 32-year-old comedian-actor added.

It was Krushna who stepped in Kapil's shoes as a host and "Comedy Nights with Kapil" was changed to "Comedy Nights Live".
Initially, the show failed to garner attention but it seems it is now gaining momentum.
"It was a popular show (Comedy Nights with Kapil). It was not easy for viewers to digest another person on the show. We got mixed reactions initially but now the TRP is good. People (stars) are calling us saying they want to come on the show," he added.
Besides "Comedy Nights Live", Krushna will be hosting "OMG! Yeh Mera India". Starting from March 10 on History TV18, the show will take viewers on an unforgettable journey of the country.
