Third phase of MHSRD scheme under 'pre-tendering' stage: Govt

The third phase of the Mumbai High South Redevelopment (MHSRD) scheme, which was approved by ONGC board last month, is under "pre-tendering stage", Lok Sabha was informed today.
It is part of plans to redevelop the Mumbai High South oil and gas fields, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said during Question Hour.
MHSRD Phase-III scheme envisages installation of three new well platforms -- RS-18, RS-20 and R-21 -- two clamp on structures at RS-2 and RS-11, 15 segments of submarine pipelines and one segment of submarine cable and modification at 18 platforms.
Pradhan said the scheme is "presently under pre-tendering stage".
The scheme was approved by the board of Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) on November 14.
The first and second phases of MHSRD scheme was completed in May 2007 and June 2014, respectively.

According to the Minister, the third phase of Mumbai High North Redevelopment (MHNRD) scheme is under execution.
ONGC board approved the revised scheme on August 13.
MHNRD-III scheme consists of five new well platforms and 19 segments of submarine pipelines, among others.
The first phase of this scheme was completed in December 2006 and the second one in June 2014.
