Thomas Cook India partners with Allpoint Network

Travel firm Thomas Cook India has partnered with US-headquartered Allpoint Network to provide Indian travellers access to the largest surcharge-free ATM network in the US.
Thomas Cook (India) has entered into a partnership with Allpoint Network through its borderless prepaid card offering Indian travellers access to over 43,000 surcharge-free ATMs in the US and about 55,000 worldwide, the company said in a filing to BSE.
This partnership will benefit consumers travelling not only to the US, but also UK, Canada, Mexico and Australia, it added.
Commenting on the development, Thomas Cook India COO Foreign Exchange, Mahesh Iyer said: "Our alliance with Allpoint... Ensures that customers can use Thomas Cook India's borderless prepaid card without any surcharge at ATMs across Allpoint Network locations, thus resulting in substantial savings for Indian travellers."
"One out of 12 ATMs in the US is an Allpoint Network ATM, offering convenience to travellers across the country," Cardtronics Financial Institutions Products Group Executive Vice President Bill Knoll said.
Shares of Thomas Cook (India) were trading 0.27 per cent down at Rs 147.05 per scrip during afternoon trade on the BSE.
