Salunkhe represents a 25-year-old model who has accused senior IPS officer Sunil Paraskar of rape.
Sharma filed an anticipatory bail application after Salunkhe filed the complaint against him saying he threatened her with dire consequences if she pursued the case against Paraskar.
Chief Public Prosecutor Kalpana Chavan and advocate Salunkhe today argued that the FIR against Sharma was under section 506(2) IPC (intimidation) which is a bailable offence and so there was no need for him to get pre-arrest bail.
Sharma claims that he had gone to her office for legal help in a family matter.
The court disposed of his application after asking him to attend police station daily for a week.
Salunkhe has also filed an application seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to Paraskar, pleading that he violated conditions of bail by threatening her through Sharma. It would be heard on September 1.
