Three AP Government officials in ACB net

Three Government officials were today arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on charge of taking bribe in separate cases reported from Medak and Khamamm districts of Andhra Pradesh.
V Satyanarayana, Assistant Manager (General), AP Civil Supplies Department at Sangareddy town in Medak district, was caught when he allegedly took Rs 1.25 lakh as bribe from a person for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here.
In another case, P Satyanarayana, Line Inspector and P Hari Praveen, Sub-Engineer, both working at Khamamm office of Assistant Engineer (Operations) of Northern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (APNPDCL), were trapped by ACB sleuths while accepting Rs 30,000 as a bribe from a person for completing some official work, it said.
All the three accused officers were subsequently arrested, the release added.
