Mushtaq Ahmad Dar of Naryanbagh (Ganderbal), Abdul Hamid Malik of Eidgah (Srinagar) and Abdul Gani Pujoo of Sumbal (Bandipora) were arrested yesterday by a special anti-burglary team which was formed after a spurt of thefts in Budgam district, a police spokesperson said.
"The arrest of trio led to the recovery of gold worth Rs 5 lakh and two stolen vehicles," he said, adding a probe was on and some more arrests and recoveries expected.
