Three people were arrested for allegedly killing their 30-year-old neighbour in northeast Delhi's Nand Nagri area, police said on Wednesday.
The accused were identified as Sumit (29) and Raj (22) and Ajay Tyagi (31), they said.
Police said some three to four men allegedly shot the victim, identified as Vicky, on Monday night outside his house, following which he was rushed to the GTB Hospital, where he succumbed, police said.
The trio, absconding since Monday, were arrested from Loni in Ghaziabad, they said.
Four cases of robbery were registered against Vicky - three in Shahdara district and one at the Nand Nagri police station.
"During interrogation, it was revealed that Sumit had a tiff with Vicky's friend on Saturday. Two days back, Vicky had a quarrel with Sumit when the latter told him that he was a bad influence in the area, following which Sumit hatched a plan to kill him," a senior police official said.
