Jatinder Singh alias Jeji (25), Satnam Singh alias Satta (23) and Navtej Singh (22) were arrested for killing Saudagar Singh when he was leaving the premises following a hearing in the case on May 22, SSP G P S Bhullar said.
The three accused were witnesses in the case for which Singh was appearing in court, the SSP said.
The victim's men had planned an attack to eliminate the witnesses, but it got overturned and eventually led to Singh's death, Bhullar said.
The three accused are already undergoing trials of three cases of attempt to murder, assault and rioting, registered at various police stations, he said.
The other accused Gursimran Singh, Randhir Singh, Billu, Lucky and others are absconding, he said.
