Three arrested with heroin worth Rs 2 lakh

Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department's anti narcotic squad has seized 47 gm of heroin during the past 48 hours in Aizawl, department's spokesperson Peter Zohmingthanga today said.
He said three persons, all of them women, were arrested for possession of the contraband worth around Rs two lakh in the local market.
The arrested women - Lalnundiki (25) of Kawlbem in Mizoram-Myanmar border Champhai district, Lalrengliani (47) of Kawlbem in Champhai district and Zothansangi (44) of Aizawl were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
