'Three Billboards...', 'Lady Bird' lead SAG nominations

"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" has won four mentions at the Screen Actors Guild awards nominations while coming-of-age drama "Lady Bird" managed three nods.
SAG awards, which are known for being an early indicator of the Oscar race, also included "Mudbound", "The Big Sick" and "Get Out" in its best ensemble performance besides "Lady Bird and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri".
Meryl Streep-Tom Hanks starrer "The Post" and Daniel Day-Lewis' last film "Phantom Thread" failed to garner any nomination at SAG despite being recognised by the Golden Globes.
Gary Oldman earned a nomination in the best actor category for his brilliant portrayal of Winston Churchill in "Darkest Hour". He will have to fight it out with Denzel Washington's critically-praised turn in "Roman J Israel, Esq.", James Franco's "The Disaster Artist", Timothee Chalamet for "Call Me by Your Name" and Daniel Kaluuya of "Get Out".
Sally Hawkins is nominated in the best female actor category for her role in "The Shape of Water" alongside Jude Dench ("Victoria & Abdul"), Frances McDormand of "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri", Margot Robbie for "I, Tonya" and Saoirse Ronan for "Lady Bird".
"Three Billboards..." has earned two nominations in the best supporting actor categories for Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell.

Steve Carell ("Battle of the Sexes"), Willem Dafoe ("The Florida Project") and Richard Jenkins ("The Shape of Water") complete the top five in the supporting actor category.
The best female supporting actor category has Allison Janney of "I, Tonya", Mary J Blige of "Mudbound", Hong Chau of "Downsizing", Holly Hunter "The Big Sick" and Laurie Mecalf for "Lady Bird".
Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk", one of the best reviewed movies, earned only one nomination in the best stunt ensemble category alongside "Baby Driver", "Logan", "War for the Planet of the Apes" and "Wonder Woman".
In TV categories, Netflix dominated with 19 overall nods for television with an additional two for film. HBO came second with 12 nods.
The best ensemble performance in a drama series went to this year's critically acclaimed shows such as "The Crown", "Game of Thrones", "The Handmaid's Tale", "Stranger Things" and "This Is Us".
While the best ensemble performance in a comedy series recognised shows such as "Black-ish", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "GLOW", "Orange is the New Black" and "Veep".
The other shows which were recongised included "Big Little Lies", "The Wizard of Lies", "Genius", "Feud: Bette and Joan", "Will & Grace" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm".
