Three bisons rescued from well

Three Indian bisons, including a calf which had fallen into a farm well at a village here, were today rescued by fire service personnel after rescue operations lasting 24-hours, officials said.
The animals had fallen into the open well, which did not have a parapet wall, on Sunday.
The incident happened at Kosipatti village.
The well had very little water.
Forest officials tranquilised the animals and rescued them using cranes.
The animals were later released into the forest.
