The bodies were spotted by a group of children who had gone to take bath in the canal and they informed the police about it.
The bodies of a man and a woman, both aged around 50 years, and a teenage boy were recovered from the canal, SP Shalabh Mathur said, adding that their identity could not be immediately ascertained.
Police suspect the trio was murdered about a week ago and their bodies were thrown into the canal.
"The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination and the cause of death will be ascertained only after receiving the report," Mathur added.
