Three children die after mother jumps into well with them

Upset with her husband over his drinking habits, a 30-year-old woman allegedly tried committing suicide by jumping into a well along with her three children in Rajasthan's Tonk district, resulting into the death of the minors.
The incident happened last night when Sonu got annoyed with her husband over his consuming liquor with their relatives and took the extreme step with her children Sapna (7), Hansraj (5) and Yuvraj (1) in Pachewar area.
They were pulled out and rushed to the district hospital where the children were declared dead, investigating officer Panchurm said, adding, that the woman was undergoing treatment.

The matter is being investigated, he added.
