Three confirmed dead in US mall shooting: police

Three people are confirmed dead in a shooting at a shopping mall near Washington, police said today.
Howard County Police announced the fatalities via Twitter and urged people inside the suburban Columbia Mall to "to stay in place." It said one of the dead was "located near gun and ammunition.
