Three CRPF jawans injured in Naxal encounter

A CRPF team belonging to 192 battalion was conducting a joint anti-Naxal operation with district police in Ropi forest area this afternoon when ultras opened fire at them which was returned by jawans, they said.

Out of three jawans injured in the encounter the condition of Subhash Chandra (26) is said to be critical and he has been shifted to Nagpur, police said adding, some Naxals were also injured in the exchange of fire that lasted for about one hour.
