Chief Minister N Rangasamy will inaugurate the festival. Exotic varieties of flower plants and vegetable from different parts of the country would be showcased at the fair. Products grown by the department in its green house would also be on show, release from Agriculture Department said today.
Among the institutions who would participate to focus on the technological development in horticulture would include the National Horticulture Board, Bangalore, Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology, Thanjavur, the Sugarcane Research Station Cuddalore, the Vegetable Research Station, Paloor, the National Horticulture Mission and Puducherry unit of Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
