Three dead, seven injured in bus-lorry collision

Three persons were killed and seven others injured seriously in a head-on collision between a state transport corporation bus and a lorry at Chinthamaniyur near here today, police said.
The bus was on its way to Mettur from Chennai and the ash-ladden lorry was coming from the opposite direction when the mishap occurred, they said adding all victims were passengers of the bus.
The seriously injured had been admitted to a private hospital here.
