"Two women died on the spot and another person was declared brought dead at the hospital," District Magistrate Omkar Singh Meena said after visiting Burdwan Medical College and Hospital where the injured persons were admitted.
The bus was going to Bhota from Burdwan town and met with the accident when the lorry hit it at Pirtala.
The injured included two two children and four women, the police said.
