Three die in head on collison

Three persons died and two others were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a toto rickshaw and a trekker car at Chandipur in East Midnapore district early today, the police said.
The accident occurred on the Norghat-Choukhali road when the two vehicles collided head on resulting in the death of three persons, including a 13-year-old boy, the police said.
Shiekh Ishrafil (35), Ashmira Biwi (28) nd Shiekh Hamidul (13) died on the spot. A severely injured driver of the toto rickshaw, Sheikh Ataul, and a three-year-old boy were rushed to the Tamluk Sadar hospital where their condition was stated to be serious, he said.

The driver of the trekker car was released by the hospital after treatment of minor injuries.
