The accident occurred on the Norghat-Choukhali road when the two vehicles collided head on resulting in the death of three persons, including a 13-year-old boy, the police said.
Shiekh Ishrafil (35), Ashmira Biwi (28) nd Shiekh Hamidul (13) died on the spot. A severely injured driver of the toto rickshaw, Sheikh Ataul, and a three-year-old boy were rushed to the Tamluk Sadar hospital where their condition was stated to be serious, he said.
