infants have died of malaria at Alishahi, a remote tribal hamlet in Atharamura hill range of Dhalai district this week, sources in health department said today.
Following these deaths, 25 people were admitted to the Kulai hospital of the district from the village and a health camp was set up there which distributed medicines among the tribals.
The menace of malaria has come under control following setting up of the health camp there.
