Assistant Commissioner of Police, North Sub-Division, B Prasada Rao said that 34 grams of gold, 859 grams of silver, a laptop and three cell phones were recovered from them, apart from some cash.
In another case, police arrested five persons who allegedly robbed a man in the city last week. The accused waylaid an employee of the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory, beat him severely and relieved him of his purse containing Rs 5,200 and two ATM cards.
Search is on for another accused in this case.
