The special court set up to try cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act also slapped a Rs 10,000 fine on the three convicts yesterday.
The accused were found guilty of "threatening and terrorising" the 15-year-old victim and raping her several times between March 27 and April 25 last year in Khedleemafi village under Indergarh police station area here.
The court also upheld the Juvenile Justice Board's decision to send two other minors convicted in the case to Children Rehabilitation Home for three years, Public Prosecutor Bhupendra Sahay Saxena said.
District sessions court (Special court, POCSO Act) judge Ashok Kumar Vyas convicted Pawan Kumar (28), Surya Prakesh Mali (19) and Ramhate Prajapat (20), all residents of Khedleemafi village, and awarded 20 years each of RI to them, Saxena said.
The five convicts raped the girl in the Anganwadi centre located on the premises of a government school for over a month, Saxena said.
