After landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here from Kuala Lumpur on July 9, the trio passed through the 'Green Channel' along with their baggage when they were intercepted by the officials of the Customs.
"Examination of their baggage revealed that they were in possession of 27,000 sachets of a product derived from 'Plant Stem Cell' claiming to be a health supplement valued at Rs 91.3 lakh," Principal Commissioner of Customs Bankey Behari Agrawal said in a release today.
The officers seized the goods and arrested the trio on charge of violation of the provisions of the Customs Act, it said, adding that further investigations are on.
