Three held for chain snatching, thefts

Police today claimed to have solved 19 cases of both chain snatching and thefts by apprehending three persons and recovering 329 grams gold.
"Pallepu Rajesh, P Raju and Sura Sailu alias Srikanth(all aged 25) of Keesara village had snatched golden chains of women belonging to various places in Karimnagar, Adilabad and Nizamabad districts," Superintendent of Police D Joel Davis told reporters here.
The accused, who were arrested, had also stolen gold and silver ornaments from temples.
