One of the accused has been identified as Balram. The two women are 18 years old, police said today.
On June 25, 48-year-old Jitender Mahajan, who works as a seller auto parts, complained to police claiming that he has been duped of Rs 26,000.
Mahajan was looking for a maid and contacted some web portals for this purpose. He received a call on June 14 from a man named Kapil, who introduced himself as an employee of a maid placement agency named Sudhir Enterprises, Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) Vijay Kumar said.
The following day, the duo sent a maid to Mahajan's place with a man named Balram, who took Rs 26,000 from him and left, he said.

The maid left from the complainant's house woman ater some time too. Mahajan tried to call the placement agency after she did not return and his calls were not responded, Kumar said.
He also found that the agency has given him a fake address, following which he approached the police, the DCP said.
Upon investigation, the police found the gang operated from Nawada and Mohan Garden. Balram and two women were arrested on June 25 while their accomplices are still on the run, Kumar said.
They would then contact he customers collect from them and leave the maid at their house to work but the she later flee from after stealing valuables. Police have so far traced 10 victims from Shahdara, South Extension, Rajouri Garden, Tagore Garden areas, the DCP said.
