The three youngsters, who ensured action over the final two rounds, were Samarth Dwivedi (71-67), Feroz Singh Garewal (69-70) and Aman Raj (69-71), while Rahul Bajaj -- after a first round 73 -- had to retire in the second round.
Dwivedi and Raj turned professional earlier this year, while Garewal has been in the pro ranks since last year. Dwivedi was lying tied 19th and was five shots behind the leader, Danny Masrin (65-68), while Garewal was tied 25th and Aman Raj was tied 31st.
The 23-year-old Masrin, who started the round with a one-shot deficit, marked his card with four birdies against a lone bogey to lead on nine-under-par 133 total at the approx. USD 46,600 Asian Development Tour event.
Thai teenager Suradit Yongcharoenchai matched his efforts for the day with a 68 to sit in second place alongside local prospect Mohd Iylia Jamil, who returned with a second consecutive 67, at the Port Dickson Golf and Country Club.
A total of 53 players made the halfway cut set at even-par 142 at the PGM Port Dickson Championship, which is the 15th leg of the ADT schedule this season.
