Three injured after train hits car

Three persons, including two women were injured after their car was hit by a train at an unmanned level crossing gate at Tamaraipadi near here today, police said.
The car got stuck very near to the track and the Tiruchi-Tirunelveli Intercity Express whcih was coming very slowly, shoved the car aside injuring the three occupants inside the car in the impact.
They were taken in the same train to Dindigul and admitted to a private hospital. The train was delayed for about 20 minutes following the incident, police said.
