Three injured as compressor in refrigerator explodes

: Three persons, including two women, were injured when the compressor in the refrigerator exploded and caught fire in a house here today, police said.
The explosion occurred in the house at Gandhimanagar and a splinter from it pierced the forehead of a 42-year-old woman who was preparing food.
Her neighbours, a woman and her son, who rushed to help her were also injured, they said, adding, all the three were discharged after first aid.
