Three killed as two vehicles run into trees

Three persons were killed in an accident near Dantiwada in Banaskantha district today when a truck and a car hit roadside trees one after another, police said.
Truck driver Vikram Thakor (25) lost the control of his vehicle and rammed into a tree on Deesa-Chitrasani road near Dantiwada while on the way to Chitrasani and died, they said.
Driver of a car coming from the opposite direction saw the truck hitting the tree and applied brakes but lost control and banged into another tree.
The two passengers in the car, Sajid Qureshi (40) and Ramesh Rana (40), died on the spot, police said.

Car driver Chetan Mali was injured and admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.
