A shopkeeper Subodh Kumar was shot dead allegedly by one Sunil Manjhi in Shivnandanpur village after the latter got angry with Kumar when he was told that no cigarette was available in the shop last night.
In another incident, one Priti Devi (30) was burnt to death after an earthen lamp fell on her sari in Srimatpur village.
