Three killed in separate road accidents in Akola

Three persons were killed and as many injured, some of them seriously, in two separate road accidents here in Maharashtra, police said today.
Both mishaps took place yesterday.
Two persons were killed and three injured when a car collided with a mini-truck near Washim bypass on the southern outskirt of the city.
The deceased, Sagar Navtare (22) and Gopal Gawai (24), were the truck driver and cleaner respectively, while the injured were car passengers, they said.
In the second mishap, a labourer, Sumedh Sadashiv (26), was killed when the sand-laden tipper in which he was travelling overturned at village Karanja, police added.
