Three killed; nine injured in road accident in Bihar

Three persons including a woman and a minor girl were killed while nine others injured when a mini van carrying them fell into a roadside ditch in Bihar's Nawada district today, police said.
The incident occurred on Nawada-Gaya main road at Barail village when the driver of the mini van, which was on its way to Gaya, lost control over the vehicle while trying to prevent a collision with an auto rickshaw coming from opposite direction, Town police station, station house officer (SHO) Anjani Kumar said.
Three persons including a woman and a minor girl were killed on the spot while nine others injured in the incident, the SHO said.

All the nine injured persons have been admitted to Nawada sadar hospital for treatment, he said.
