Three KNLA militants arrested

Three Karbi National Liberation
Army militants, including a 'commander', were arrested with arms during a joint army and police operation in Assam's Karbi Anglong district today.
KNLA self-styled 'commander' Martin Bey, cadre Kensing Rongphar and 'intellegence fieldman' and a college student Dilip Bongro were arrested from near Diphu railway station, police said.
Two 7.65-mm pistol and three rounds of annunition were recovered from the three ultras, the sources said.
The operation was conducted by Town Police Sub-inspector Ciraj Ingti based on information provided by district Superintendent of Police Mukhdha Jyoti Mahanta, they added.
