Three minor children fall into ditch and die

Three minor children including two girls of a farmer's family slipped into a ditch in a nearby fields and died today in Vengalam Chervu village in Puttaparthi mandal, district administration sources said here today.
Since Sunday is a holiday, the children of Kesavulu and Radhamma, namely Ganesh (9), Jayasree (13) and Jayanthi (11) studying in a school in their village went to their fields to meet their parents, sources said.
Out of curiosity, they went to see a ditch with water in a field and slipped into it, sources said.
Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy expressed his deep condolences to the farmer's family and extended moral support to them.
