Three NSCN cadres apprehended in Arunachal Pradesh

Security forces have apprehended three hardcore NSCN (IM) cadres and another cadre of the United Liberation Council of Arunachal (ULCA) from Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh here.
Personnel of Assam Rifles along with Tirap Police and CRPF arrested the rebels from Dadam village under Khonsa, the district headquarters, yesterday during a joint operation, continuing for the past two days, a press release said here today.
The operation was a major success as self styled Sergeant Major Khunphoa Sumnyan, Khonsa town Commander of NSCN (IM) was arrested along with two more NSCN (IM) cadres and the ULCA cadre, the release said.

Three pistols with ammunitions, explosives, detonators and some money was also recovered from their possession, the release added.
