Three of a family, including two children, stabbed to death

Three persons of a family, including two children, were allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified persons in the New Collector Colony of suburban Malad here in the wee hours today.
The deceased have been identified as Babli Shaw (47), Aryan Ismail Shaikh (13) and Sania Ismail Shaikh (8), police said.

Police said Shah's wife Prerna, a retired Colonel, used to run a boutique.
Five police teams have been formed to investigate the matter, SSP Janmejay Khanduri said in Nainital.
"Absence of a security guard or CCTV footage has slowed down the investigation," he admitted.

While the CCTV cameras were installed in the front part of the house, the miscreants broke in from the rear side, he said.

Ajay Rautela, DIG Nainital, inspected the place today.
The tenant of the retired Colonel has been called in along with 20 other people for inquiry.
