Three persons killed in a clash between two families

Three persons were killed after a dispute over a minor issue led to a clash between two families living in the same neighbourhood here today.
The incident took place this morning after a person belonging to one family trespassed on the property of another family, District Magistrate C P Tripathi said.
The second family raised objections when the person passed from their area on his motorcycle. During the quarrel, there was firing from both sides which led to the death of three persons.
Two persons from one family and one from the other died on the spot, Tripathi said, adding, illegal country made arms were used in the violence.

The District Magistrate along with the DIG reached the spot immediately. However, no arrest has been made so far and the police are investigating the incident, he said.
