At least three persons, including a child, have been killed in separate road accidents in Nepal's Lalitpur district Friday.
Two persons were killed and one injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a pickup van, police said.
The truck driver and a woman succumbed to their injuries at a hospital in the district, police said, adding that the van driver is undergoing treatment at the Medicity Hospital.
The van was coming from the opposite direction at Dhobikhola along the ringroad in the district near Kathmandu.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a two-year-old child was killed when he was hit by a minibus at Thaiba in Godavari Municipality of Lalitpur district, police said.
The police has taken into custody the minibus driver and initiated further investigation.
