Three policemen injured in encounter, one criminal shot dead

A man wanted in several murder, robbery and other cases was shot dead by police here today after three police personnel were injured, two seriously, when he fired at them, a senior officer said.
Four police men raided the house of the alleged notorious criminal Munna to recover illegal arms but he fired at them, causing bullet wounds, Superintendent of Police Amit Singh said.
Police also returned fire, causing serious injury to Munna, who died on the way to hospital, he said.
