The victims identified as Amit, Nitu and Ramu, were killed while two of their companions including the one behind the wheel, were wounded, as their car fell into a gorge near Mussoorie late last night, Mussoorie Circle Officer, Jaya Baluni said.
All the victims, aged between 25-35 were from Shahdara area of the national capital, she said.
Police rescued the injured from the accident site and rushed them to a hospital in Mussoorie after being informed of the incident this morning, she said.
Though it is not clear why the accident occurred, prima facie drunken driving seems to have led to it, she said.
